Melissa has a Masters in Clinical Psychology and works with adolescents, adults and couples.
She has over 15 years' experience working with people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, abusive relationships, childhood abuse, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, stress, trust, self-esteem, parenting, anger management, offending behavior, psychosis, bipolar, disordered eating, body image difficulties, addition, life adjustment and developmental issues. Melissa has worked as a researcher as well as a therapist, and gained experience in a variety of settings. This includes working in generalised community clinics and providing services directed towards a specific group of clients (e.g. clients with drug and alcohol issues, supporting family members of a loved one with addiction issues, youths experiencing their first episode of psychosis and men in prison).
